I’ve always been enamored by landscapes with rolling hills. I especially love watching sunset come over a hilltop, and seeing all the little lights from the houses begin to sparkle as the day comes to a close. I like to imagine who might live up there, and especially love it when the light turns vibrant pink and orange. This painting is ultimately a tribute to the Southern California scenery.
