Glide
Glide
Oil on Canvas with Resin Coating
36×36”
I painted Glide about a year after moving to San Diego from Georgia. I wanted to create a piece that glimmered on the wall like the newfound water I was always surrounded by.Living near the ocean was such a new experience, and I couldn't get enough of its color, movement, and constant change. It was also a season of embracing a new chapter after finishing school and moving to a brand new city - learning to trust the unknown and simply go with the flow.
