Plein air painting was an artform I took up during COVID, it was a way for me to explore the landscapes and vistas across San Diego and get fresh air during quarantine. During that time I cast a wide net and painted anywhere I could - beaches and urban settings alike. For this painting, I found myself in Hillcrest, admiring the quaint homes and friendly passer-by’s.
