I love uncovering a great party photo - and that’s exactly what this piece encapsulates. "Friday" is a tribute to the joy of a good party. Inspired by an old photo I found of my uncle in the 80s—arms thrown up, bottle in hand—I wanted to capture that electric, carefree moment. Through textured brushstrokes and layered color, I tried to bring out the energy and nostalgia of the kinds of nights you never quite remember, but certainly don’t forget.
