The koi pond near Balboa Park’s botanical building is one of my favorite places to paint. It’s always so peaceful and full of color, and I end up meeting all kinds of art lovers who stop by. Painting outdoors there has not only brought me closer to the landscape, but also to the people who appreciate it just as much.
